TopRank Content Marketing Manager

TopRank is looking for an amazing individual to serve in a full-time capacity as a Content Marketing Manager for the TopRank Online Marketing agency. Responsible for agency marketing content, social media and support for TopRank’s speaking events.

Expectations: Develop, implement and measure content marketing programs for TopRank Online Marketing both online and offline in a way that builds brand credibility, creates engagement and ultimately generates inquiries that lead to new TopRank consulting engagements.


  • Content planning for company blog, social network updates, 2 monthly newsletters, company website & newsroom, contributed articles, visual content and special projects
  • Content creation, curation and repurposing – blog, website, events, newsletters, presentations, eBooks, visual content, guides & reports
  • Content promotion via SEO, PPC, social media, email publicity
  • Community management, curation and engagement on TopRank social networks (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Google+)
  • Event marketing & publicity (planning, management & promotions around our CEO’s speaking events)
  • Manage agency website efforts (SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing. etc) while working with specialists
  • Marketing measurement and reporting – web analytics, social media reporting, Salesforce
  • Conduct research and make recommendations
  • Support for special projects – eBooks, local events, agency activities and training
  • Monitor industry best practices and make recommendations
  • Represent TopRank at industry events: network & content creation


  • 3-5 years’ experience; agency experience preferred
  • Highly organized
  • Great copywriter and blogger
  • Creative thinker
  • Visually creative with content and media
  • Comfortable creating content and engaging on social networks on a daily basis
  • Highly adept at creating marketing performance reports, drawing out insights and communicating opportunities

Technical Requirements:

  • WordPress
  • Project management software (Basecamp or similar)
  • MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT) and Google Docs
  • Basic image editing software
  • Online marketing dashboard reporting – SEO, PPC, social, email
  • Google Analytics or similar website analytics
  • HootSuite, Sprout Social, or similar social media management
  • Light HTML
