TopRank Marketing is looking to hire our next Director of Search & Analytics. This role is responsible for achieving results on behalf of our clients in addition to management of the Search and Analytics teams.
Position Responsibilities
- Management of Search and Analytics Team Members – 20%
- Manage and develop team members
- 1 on 1 with each team member weekly
- All team meetings (at least semi-monthly)
- Identification of 1 or 2 goals they are trying to achieve that support the business goals by
- Providing tools as to how are you growing them to achieve the goals
- Ongoing coaching and training identification for reaching goals
- Manage vendor resources including ongoing evaluation and coaching
- Manage and develop team members
- Management of Search and Analytics Operations – 50%
- Manage consistent, profitable and quality-driven department operation; including ongoing set up, evaluation and refinement of resources, processes and tools related to search and analytics
- Manage a P&L for department, including costs & driving new revenue growth
- Manage weekly department scorecard including:
- Performance by client & by team member
- Segmented by project/retainer
- Delivery of services
- Quality of services
- Results of services
- Performance by client & by team member
- Ongoing evaluation and management of offers related to search and analytics
- Subject Matter Expertise Across Client Programs – 30%
- Execute on and guide the team to develop strategies and tactical plans for client programs which drive results
- Oversee search & analytics deliverables in order to ensure total quality
- Serve as a subject matter expert for clients and our internal team related to search and analytics
- Oversee client paid and organic search programs in order to ensure alignment of strategy & results to client business objectives
- Develop custom audits & analysis of current programs
- Guide the team to create client dashboard which highlight program success and opportunities
- Guide the team to set up tracking and analytics which ensure our ability to evaluate program success
- Partner with marketing to oversee resources managing paid, search, and analytics initiatives for agency marketing
- Participate in new business opportunities

Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience in B2B SEO or similar
- Agency experience required
- Experience managing team members
- Experience with a variety software, including paid such as Google Adwords, SEMRush, Ahrefs, ScreamingFrog, Google Data Studio
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Proficiency with Google Drive, Microsoft® Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Project & time management experience
